State Of Integrity formed in early 2003. All four members are from the Redlands/Bayside area of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The band comprises of Aaron Franklin (vocals), Ben Clayphan (bass), Nick Rhodes (drums) and Brendan Rhodes (guitar). The style of music they play is a blend of traditional, thrash and death metal style. S.O.I have been inspired to play this style of music by the bands they listened to growing up such as Metallica, Pantera, Sepultura, In Flames, Obituary and Slayer.

During the four and a half years Nick, Brendan and Ben had been playing together as a band, they had gone through several vocalists, none of which had worked out. After having difficulty finding a vocalist who complemented their style and displayed a genuine commitment to the band, Nick and Brendan placed an advertisement in the local music magazine Rave. After seeing this ad, Aaron, who had been a vocalist for four years, contacted Nick and Brendan and arranged to attend a jam. The rest, as they say, is history.

The band played their first show in September 2003 and continued to play shows throughout 2004, in the process gathering a healthy and loyal fan base due to their high energy and chaotic shows. 2004 saw S.O.I support death metal band Exhumed from the USA. They also played with many well known Brisbane and interstate bands during that year. 2005 has seen the band in the studio for the third time in eighteen months, during that time doing two demos and also recording their full length album. Recording for the album started in January, proceeded through February and finished in March. The debut album entitled The Fourth Season Of Revelations, will be released in stores June 12th 2005 through MGM distribution. Throughout 2005 the band will be doing several shows across Australia in support of the full length album.

State Of Integrity has just completed their first international tour in September 2005, as the main support for New Zealand heavyweights 8 Foot Sativa. The tour took in four dates which included shows in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. The outcome was very successful.

The band has also been busy throughout the year writing new songs and is now demo-ing new material for their second album, due mid 2006.

The Driving Conditions (TDC) are quickly earning themselves a reputation as one our countries most exciting live Rock n Roll bands. 2007 has seen the band hold their own opening shows in front of our countries most seasoned rock legends. Roof-raising live shows with Jimmy Barnes, The Angels, The Radiators, Dallas Crane & a stage destroying show at The Headstock Festival 2007 (Mal Eastick, Pete Cornelius, Ross Ward) is gathering the band a huge following down the East Coast of Oz. With the release of their debut EP simply titled, Rock n Roll, they're set to take to the world stage.

Formed in late 2006, TDC deliver hard, no-bullshit, rock n roll played with heart and soul. In April 07, the boys recorded their debut 6 track EP, Rock n Roll, with Aria Hall-of-Famer Geordie Leach from Rose Tattoo . The music captured on this recording is one very much reminiscent of good old-fashioned Aussie Rock n Roll, like Rose Tattoo, ACDC and The Angels . Geordie's experience from years of recording with the legendary Vanda and Young production team at Alberts , has captured that authentic Aussie Rock sound on this recording. The band will be hitting the studio again with Geordie in early '08 to record their debut full length album.

The band has received great exposure in 2007 with Geordie Leach wearing his Driving Conditions t-shirt on stage in front of thousands of fans for their world-wide support of Guns n Roses and their Australian tour with Motorhead . More exposure was gained as the T-shirt again appeared nationwide as Big Brother host, Mike Goldman , wore his Rock n Roll T-shirt live on the Up-Late show. He also wore the shirt on the eviction advertisement played 6 times a day in the first week of July, with over 4 million viewers watching. Songs from the EP were played on the Up Late show as part of a deal signed with Endemol Southern Star.

Imagine The Ramones with Brian May on guitar. Imagine the musical talent of Yes with the energy, drive and passion of a young Paul Weller on vocals. Put these together and you might be coming some way to describing the sound of Sunshine Coast four-piece VEYA.

With influences as diverse as Deep Purple and At The Drive In; from The Cure to Mars Volta, VEYA subconciously drank in the post punk drive, power and energy of the early 80's UK music scene, and blended in a dash of 2000 and beyond US rock to give an almost 'progressive new wave' statement to their songs when playing live and on record.

"It happened through osmosis,' said singer Dom when speaking of the band's musical influences, ' it just seems to have always been there in the background, my Dad playing music from The Jam, Velvet Underground even Love. I didn't realise it at the time but I obviously took it all in.'  

With the constant battle and drive within the band testing the boundaries of their music, the dynamics of the songs are pushed first one way and then another; with Dom the lead singer and main writer, duelling with Eddie, the lead guitarist in deciding which way the tunes will flow. Often starting out as punk anthems with Dom sounding like a modern day Robert Smith, Eddie's searing guitar will then take us on a journey through riffs and breaks which could well have come from the early 70's and bands such as Foreigner or Bad Company.

Leon and Skot then cut through the overriding melodies, providing a rhythm section so tight and powerful that the songs seem held together as if by glue, leading to a fusion of musical styles that gives a unique experience and a new sound for young Australia.

Even though only teenagers themselves, with the dash of self assurance and arrogance that youth brings, the cocktail is finished off.

VEYA will be releasing their debut EP 'Trampoline City' in early 2007 on Sugar Spun Music,   and will be playing gigs all over Queensland in the coming months. Catch the fire.

Formed in late 2001 by founding member Dylan Nation, the band has undergone numerous live line-up changes to create a world class live show; performing well over a hundred shows in this time.

Supports have included The Follow, Jerk, Contrive, Tourettes, COG, Skinlab, Superheist, Snog, Frankenbok, Alchemist + Dead Inside The Chrysalis. The band has also performed at 4ZzZ market day (main stage) Halloween Hellfest (all 4 years) Ozziefest + the Homegrown festivals.

With a bottom heavy rhythm section powering behind hook-laden guitar riffs, catchy vocal melodies and HUGE choruses, this is a band who is constantly writing and evolving and will gratify fans of Sevendust, Alice in Chains, Tool and AC/DC alike with their original blend of new sounds and old-school rock sensibilities. The ep was excellent introduction to a band that could very well be the next big thing in Aussie rock, with a line-up boasting ex-members of legendary acts Tower, The Poor, Black Seed & King Mungi.

Following Lumps' recent win of the Australian series of World Battle of the Bands, the "Here I Am" ep jumped back into the AIR charts at #12, and Lump headed off to compete at the World Final in Auckland with solid NZ airplay continuing since their return.

Lump played at the Big Day Out on the Gold Coast City Council / CGMIA stage in January on the Gold Coast 2005 and critics are still talking about it after Hate Breed's Sean Martin raved about the band "LUMP" smashing the local stage.

The band released their debut Album May 2005 recorded at Loose Stones Studios - the 9 track "PAPER SKIN" cd totally self funded has pricked the ears of many national and international contacts after supporting "Fozzy" from the U.S. Lump went on to headline the local stage at the 'Tastes Of Chaos' tour in Oct '05 supporting 'The USED'.

2006 has seen the bands following of loyal fans grow from strength to strength through touring and shows with the likes of Zakk Wylds Black label Society - Shihad - Screaming jets any many quality local and national touring acts.

In 2005 Dan sort band members to add their touches to a swag of songs he had written. Dean came on board and a connection was immediate and Enersha started to form. Through almost two years of line up changes they persevered until in 2007 Jon and Brad answered the call for a new, exciting and seriously solid rhythm section.

That same year, Enersha landed Brisbane indie label Bad Bubba records and entered the studio to record their debut album “Faraway Man”. It was recorded at Alchemix studios, Brisbane and produced by Australia’s own world music legend Chrisse Feros. Michael Fossenkemper at Turtletone studios in New York mastered the album.

Singer, songwriter, author, activist and founding member of pioneering indigenous rock group The Warumpi Band, Neil Murray is one of Australia’s most respected performers. Since 1989 he has forged a solo recording career that has produced the albums ‘Calm & Crystal Clear’, ‘These Hands’, ’Dust’, ‘The Wondering Kind’, ‘Going the Distance’, the 2CD compilation ‘About Time’, the Spoken Word Album ‘Spoken’ and now the new album ‘Overnighter’. After more than two decades of writing, recording and performing, Neil Murray was awarded the APRA song of the year in 1995 for ‘My Island Home’ which was originally written for the Warumpi Band and re-recorded by Christine Anu. ‘My Island Home’ has become something of an unofficial anthem and featured in the closing ceremony of the Sydney 2000 Olympics.

Neil Murray performs regularly at festivals and live music venues in Australia and overseas and recently returned from his second visit to the US with gigs and showcases in NYC, LA, Nashville and Atlanta. Since the release of ‘Overnighter’ through ABC/Warner Music in late 2007, Neil has been on the road, literally ‘getting back to the country’.

Preference are an extremely hard working band, having played many gigs at venues up and down the East coast of Australia, including shows in Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle and Wollongong. Preference are regulars to both the Sunshine and Gold Coasts in Queensland, attracting a large and varied crowd to all local gigs. With Preference playing alongside international and interstate bands such as 8ft Sativa, Full Scale, Tourettes, Blood Duster, Japunga, Devolved and Flesh Mechanic, their fan base is ever expanding.

Preference has hundreds of hours of studio time and experience, and as a result, has produced an amazing debut EP, entitled ‘Greed Death Time Money’. After beginning pre-production in April 2004, Preference has assessed and arranged six hard-hitting tracks for their debut. The EP has been produced and recorded by award winning producer and Queensland University of Technology Sound Design lecturer Yanto Browning (M Mus). After conducting extensive market research, Preference has taken promotion to a new level, with 100 professionally minted coins, displaying the bands logo and name, to be sold with the first 100 CDs. The coin will become seminal to Preference’s EP launch, giving die-hard fans cheaper entry on presentation of the coin. The coin is also the central theme in the artwork for ‘Greed Death Time Money’, as the insert mural was painted around the theme of coin production.

Drop Dead Ugly formed mid 2003 under the name New Skids On The Jocks with a plan to have some fun, drink plenty of beer and ruffle some feathers. The band was a piss take, it was an outlet for the guys to vent there frustrations after years of doing the hard yards in real bands. The first thing the guys did was record a demo, then started playing as many shows as possible, within a few months they had built a surprisingly strong fan base and sold over 500 copies of their recording..

By the end of 2003 the guys realized the band was becoming more than just a bit of fun and decided to put their full attention into this hideous beast that had now become Drop Dead Ugly.

With plenty of gigs under their belt after the release of "The Start of Somthing Stupid", Drop Dead Ugly's line up had a bit of a shuffle.

Sunset Strip plays music from the 70's right through to now ie Talking Heads to Pete Murray & Pink. We like to keep up with all the modern day tunes as well as some of the golden oldies.
